I consider each person to be an individual with their own personal health story which we will explore in detail during a 90 minute initial consultation. We will look at your current, past and family health, and how your diet and lifestyle might be causing or contributing to any adverse health conditions.
As well as a thorough case history, I may use Naturopathic methods such as nail & tongue diagnosis to help me complete the picture. I also work with a number of Functional Testing Laboratories and may also recommend this route if appropriate. (See Services Page – Functional Testing)
A personalised wellness plan will be drawn up which will take into account your individual needs, lifestyle and preferences. Your plan may include dietary changes, specialised diets, detoxification, the use of high quality nutritional or herbal supplements plus exercise and lifestyle suggestions. You needn’t be afraid that I will ask you to give up your favourite foods all at once, or that you’ll end up eating nothing but brown rice and water! The smallest of adjustments to diet e.g. drinking more water and eating less sugar, can have dramatic affects on health and wellbeing. You can make adjustments at your own pace, and the follow ups will help with ongoing advice and support.
